Where change begins.
It’s wonderful that you’re here.
The first step is often the hardest – and you’ve already taken it. The fact that you’re here shows that you’re ready to change something in your life. That’s exactly what I’m here for.
As a licensed psychotherapist with statutory health insurance approval, I treat both public health insurance patients and private patients in Ludwigshafen and online. I offer individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy.
Therapy
Psychological Psychotherapy
My psychotherapeutic work combines established cognitive behavioural therapy methods with systemic, hypnotherapeutic and mindfulness-based approaches.
Group Psychotherapy – spots still available!
Group therapy is a standalone and highly effective form of psychotherapy, which is covered by both public and private health insurers.
I offer the following groups:
ADHD in Adulthood: This ongoing group for adults with ADHD symptoms provides a space for mutual understanding and practical strategies for everyday life
Group Psychotherapeutic Basic Care for ADHD in Adulthood: A psychoeducation group for suspected or already diagnosed ADHD, consisting of 4 sessions
Psychotherapy Group: Self-Worth: A safe space, independent of any specific diagnosis, with the aim of strengthening one’s own self-worth with the support of the group.
Group for Students and Young Professionals: For young adults who are familiar with exam pressure, procrastination, or a lack of direction during the transition into working life
Therapy group in English: A therapy group for adults who feel more at home expressing themselves in English. There are still a few spots open.
Before joining a group, we get to know each other in one or more individual consultations (psychotherapeutic intake session). In one to three appointments, we assess together whether your concerns are a good fit for the group and which setting is right for you. The next group cycle starts in September 2026, and there are still spots available.
Couples Therapy
As a couples and sex therapist, I work with couples of all relationship forms and orientations using a systemic, non-judgmental approach.
Relationships are complex, and relationship problems arise from patterns that have developed over time and entangle both partners. My approach is systemic: I don’t look at blame or deficits, but at dynamics, communication patterns, and the often unspoken needs behind conflicts.
Alongside classic relationship themes such as communication, trust, closeness and distance, crises and new beginnings, I also support couples with questions around sexuality and intimacy. Sexual dissatisfaction, differing needs, or the gradual loss of connection are issues that many couples face and that are often difficult to talk about.
As a couples and sex therapist, I explicitly make space for these conversations.
LGBTQIA+: My practice is an open and non-judgmental space for people of all gender identities and sexual orientations. People living in various relationship forms are equally welcome. What underpins my work is a constructive and curious attitude: I assume that couples have more resources available to them than are visible during a crisis. My role is to make these accessible again.
Couples therapy sessions each last 90 minutes. This gives us enough time to genuinely work through topics without having to stop at a crucial moment. Couples therapy can take place in person at my practice or online.
The fee is €210 per 90-minute session, to be shared between both partners. Couples therapy is not covered by health insurers. The costs may, under certain circumstances, be claimed as an extraordinary expense in your income tax return.
Online Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is not tied to a fixed location. It is possible to attend individual therapy sessions or the entire course of therapy online.

Video sessions take place via the privacy-compliant provider Webprax. All you need is a quiet space and a computer, tablet, or smartphone. No additional software installation is required.
Online sessions are available for both individual therapy and couples therapy, and for both public (GKV) and private (PKV) health insurance patients. The initial consultation typically takes place in person.
Psychotherapy in English/ Psicoterapia en Español
Therapeutic work requires precise and authentic expression which is often easier in one’s native language. I offer individual therapy, couples’ therapy and group psychotherapy in English, both in person and online. Feel free to reach out to me in English for a first consultation.
La terapia a menudo funciona mejor en el idioma nativo de una persona. No dude en comunicarse conmigo en español para una primera consulta.
About me
Approach
My integrative therapeutic approach combines established methods from cognitive behavioural therapy and systemic therapy with elements of the “third wave” of behavioural therapy — such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and schema therapy, informed by current research findings.
As a psychotherapist, it is important to me not only to support you in alleviating symptoms such as depression, anxiety, or burnout, but to develop a deeper understanding of your inner processes together with you.
In this, I see you as the expert of your own story. My role is to work with you to find out what you need and which paths feel right for you.
My practice in Ludwigshafen offers a safe space grounded in empathy, openness, and professional expertise. Every therapeutic process is as unique as the person themselves — and therapy is shaped accordingly, individually and according to your needs.

Where I am
Payment
Public Health Insurance (GKV)
As I hold a statutory health insurance contract (Kassensitz), the costs of your individual or group therapy are covered by your health insurer upon application (billing is carried out via the EBM fee schedule).
Private Insurance (PKV)
If psychotherapy is included in your tariff’s range of covered services, your private insurer will cover the full costs. It is therefore worth reviewing your policy carefully, or clarifying in advance with your insurer to what extent psychotherapy is covered. My therapeutic treatment is of course reimbursable by Beihilfe as a guideline-based therapy. The fee per therapy session is regulated by the fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP).
Self-Pay Patients
You are of course also welcome to cover the treatment costs yourself. The advantages of this are that no application formalities are required, allowing you to begin psychotherapeutic treatment directly. Per therapy session, a fee of €135.53 applies in accordance with the fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP), plus €33.52 for the assessment of your current mental health status. The costs of psychotherapeutic services can be claimed as an extraordinary expense for tax purposes (§ 33 EStG). Couples therapy is likewise a self-pay service. The fee for a 90-minute session is €210.
